Laura Heine Shape Collage Dress Class with Jessica Thursday, November 21st, 10 am-4 pm
The Thursday, November 21st, 10 am-4 pm Collage Class which uses the Laura Heine Shape Collage Method is a class that the student has a choice of the large Dress pattern, Miniature Dress pattern, or a gorgeous Cake with Lady Topper pattern. All three patterns utilize this technique, and you still create a lady in each pattern. Shape Collage is a technique that uses fabrics that have movement & texture. The student cuts out a shape such as a circle, teardrop, oval, etc. Then uses all of the shapes to make a picture! This class is really exciting, and you learn Jessica's no fail never reversed pattern piece method for using the double sided Steam-a-Seam 2 product!
Remember that this is a NO SEW technique! The student does not touch a sewing machine until the borders are added and the quilt top is ready to quilt. This class is a study in textiles, shapes, colors, shades and freedom. Textile addicts will love this class, because it uses a lot of different textiles in a quick method for maximum bang for your time!
