Laura Heine Motif & Shape Collage Old Blue Quilt Class with Jessica Saturday, November 9th, 10 am-4 pm

This is a project class for Old Blue with Jessica Saturday, November 9th, 10 am-4 pm.  Old Blue or the Pink Cadillac must be done in this class.  This class teaches you the Laura Heine Motif & Shape Collage method.  The Motif Collage Method uses flowers, animals, paisleys, etc.-different motifs to create a larger picture all together. The Laura Heine Shape Collage Method uses a specifically chosen texture print fabric to create swirls, curves, and shapes that altogether create a larger picture.  Since this is a shape collage class, you will also learn Jessica's no fail technique for working with double sided sticky fusible and not getting shapes reversed!

Remember that this is a NO SEW technique! The student does not touch a sewing machine until the quilt top is ready to quilt. This class is a study in textiles, shapes, colors, shades and freedom. Textile addicts will love this class, because it uses a lot of different textiles in a quick method for maximum bang for your time!  This class requires at home preparation for this class.
